12,919 Decisions for Christ!
God has once again given a great harvest in the fields of Ghana.  During our most recent project in this African nation, we shared the gospel in 71 different venues to audiences that ranged in size from less than 100 to several thousands.  Each time the Gospel was presented, we witnessed the wonder working power of God as He called and drew thousands unto Himself. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Dark roads and remote villages are the target of ministry in Ghana

ADUKROM, GHANA [GEM]  The world of Global Evangelism Ministries continues to enlarge. Having just returned from his 15th ministry project in Ghana since 2001, GEM founder, Dr. Roy Mason said, "This project was, without a doubt, into the most remote and desolate places we have ever been!  The roads to these villages were nearly non-existent and the jungle was deep.  Each day we travelled miles from our hotel in the small town of Adukrom into the "hinterlands" of the country where villagers, who had  never before been presented with the Gospel, responded in large numbers to the love of Jesus Christ." Ghana national Director, Rev. Sammy Lartey joyfully proclaimed, "The project was a huge success and was once again a testimony to God's blessing upon our calling.  We go where others refuse to go.  We go to the ends of the earth in our presentation of the Gospel"

The Harvest was plenteous
When the project was concluded the teams had shared the gospel in 71 different ministry venues of film crusades, school meetings, church services, and hut-to-hut evangelistic visitation where an estimated 12,919 indicated their decision to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

GOD IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL
This project was once again a testimony to the faithfulness of God.  Less than one week before the team's scheduled departure from the USA, the funding for the project was desperately short.  So short, in fact, the ministry was preparing to contact the personnel in Ghana to inform them that the project was going to be cancelled.  But God had other plans!  Within 72 hours of the scheduled departure, God supernaturally provided all the funding necessary for this project.  "I witnessed God do something only He could do" said Mason.  "I have always believed it and once again He proved it; 'God is rarely early, but HE is never late.'"

The obedience of God's people in supporting this and all the efforts of GEM is overwhelming.  Even in the midst of what is now being referred to as a "Global Economic Crisis," God is proving that He is in control!  We continue to thank Him for moving on the hearts of His people to support the ministry around the world.  While it is certainly true that none of us know what tomorrow holds, we can rest in the truth that we know who holds tomorrow.  The Apostle Paul says, "I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day."  (2 Tim. 1:12)

Thank you for continuing to remember Global Evangelism Ministries in your prayers and with your financial support.
The Overwhelming Provision of God
The financial needs for the project were met!

As stated in our last newsletter, the funding for just completely ministry project to Ghana was a God-sized miracle.

We wrote, in our October newsletter:

"The ministry project to Ghana will cost us $17,000 and as of today, we are still in need of $12,000."  This was the answer given by Roy Mason to a donor on the phone this morning.

When asked, "How are things looking for the upcoming Ghana project?" Mason routinely responded, "We don't have the money in our hands, but it is not time to leave yet!"

We realize you want to know what happened with this need, so here it is:  Within a matter of a very few days, God had supplied all the needs for the project to be met!  We watched God do the supernatural.  The funding came from sources we never expected.

Even after the team left for Ghana, funds continued to come in for the ministry.  God was always in front of us.  It was, once again, a humble reminder that God is completely sufficient for all our needs.

Once again, read the words we wrote to you in October:

The entire mindset of Global Evangelism Ministries can be summarized in one simple statement:  "Whatever God initiates, He accomplishes!"  This walk of Faith requires unwavering belief in the fact that God will always meet the needs of the ministry through His Word and His people.

Given the current state of the economy and the climate of fear that seems to be gripping the hearts of many people, both inside and outside  the church,  GEM is constantly being reminded of the lesson we learned years ago from a dear friend from Texas:

God is rarely early
but He is never late!

Praise be to God for His incredible provision!
Why does GEM travel so far to preach the Gospel?
Dr. Roy D. Mason, Jr.
President

I am often asked this question and my answer is simple.  God has commanded me (and you) to go into all the world and preach the gospel!  I have no voice in the matter.  My only decision is whether to obey or disobey!

08 Ghana womanThe only hope for the people of the world is Jesus Christ.  I am fully persuaded that our planet is spiraling toward the rapture of the church, the rule of anti-Christ, and the ultimate return and reign of the Lord Jesus.

The people of Ghana are looking for hope!  Their democracy will elect a new president in December and while I was in the country I could not help but notice the political advertisements around the towns.  All of the signs read just like our political signs in America.  Words like CHANGE, FORWARD, HOPE were everywhere.

People in every land are all in need of the same thing.  The hope we can believe in will only be found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.   The looks on the faces of these people seem to say it all. They are all asking, "why would you comkidse to see me?"

People, regardless of age, need Jesus!  Whether we are preaching in the villages, showing the JESUS film, speaking in local schools, or sharing door-to-door, our message is always the same: "We love you, but Jesus loves you more!"

In a08Biblesn effort to further explain the truth of God's love, we distribute thousands of copies of the New Testament to school students and new believers.

Global Evangelism Ministries remains committed to the task of taking the Gospel to the unreached people of the world.  Why?  Because they both need and must hear the Gospel.

Thank you for your continued support of GEM, which enables us to be faithful to the call of God upon our lives.  With your help, we are going where others refuse to go!

Can you tell me?
Global Evangelism Ministries is excited to announce a new forum we have through our web ministry!  Throughout the years, we have been asked many valid questions and have always tried to answer them honestly.  A few weeks ago a dear friend suggested that we begin to answer some of the questions for our friends on the web.  After some prayer and discussion with some of our trusted colleagues, we have decided to give this a try.

The format for this column will be simple.  we will attempt to give a succinct answer in the opening paragraph (for those who really don't take time to read long emails) and then a more detailed answer in the "more on the matter" section of each email.

We trust you will you feel free to submit questions you think need answering.  Please understand that we will never publish the name of the person submitting the question but will answer the question for our larger web audience.  Through the years, we've learned that often we have many of the same questions.  click here to submit a question
