FRONT LINE UPDATE
My dear friend, This is the most exciting time ever to be at work in the Kingdom of God! The invitations to our ministry continue to come nearly every week. Just this week alone we have received new invitations from Sudan, Pakistan, and Kenya to come and begin ministry in the countries.
While we are thankful for each invitation, GEM is committed to only accepting invitations for partnership after much prayer and confirmation of the call. Please continue to remember us in your prayers as we contemplate God's next assignment for us.
2008 holds many challenges for our ministry. In just a few days two of us will be leaving the US for a European project that will take us to both Romania and The Czech Republic. The trip will involve preaching points and continued planning for our future ministry in both of these countries.
HARVEST GHANA UPDATE
In early March our team will return to Ghana, West Africa for the first of our two annual projects to this country. This particular project will host our first-ever dental clinic as a part of our evangelistic project. The clinic will afford us an even greater opportunity to share the gospel with more people.
Please pray for Dr. David Ney and the others who will be leading this portion of the project.
Our entire team will be traveling into the most remote areas of the country to encounter thousands of people who have never before been challenged directly by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe that will be our most productive project in Ghana. As always Ghana places a tremendous stain on the ministry in regards to finances. The entire ministry cost for Ghana will be in excess of $15,000 (plus the personal expenses of each team member). If you are able to contribute toward this need we will be extremely thankful. Remember all our funding comes from individuals, like you, who make GEM a regular part of their missions support. |
