FRONT LINE UPDATEnewspaper
Where does the time go?  It's difficult to believe that we are nearing the end of another year, but what an incredible year it has been! By God's grace Global Evangelism Ministries has been blessed to share the gospel in 163 venues around the world since January 1, 2007.  This incredible feat is the result of your faithfulness in supporting our work and witness around the world.  Thanks for your prayers and financial support.  Both are vital to the work of GEM.  We could not do this without your partnership.

REVIVAL ROMANIA CHANGES
Once again I find myself sitting on an airplane in route from Europe to the United States.  I have just left Romania where I was involved in very productive planning meetings with our new coordinator Pastor George Surtea of the Macea Church in the county of Arad.  Brother George has a wonderful heart for missions and ministry inside Romania.  I am more encouraged now at the possibilities of what is ahead for our work in Eastern Europe than ever before.

As a result of these critical meetings, GEM has accepted the invitation to do ministry inside Romania for the foreseeable future.  We will be partnering with five churches in Arad county who have a heart for revival and evangelism.  Our first project under the new leadership will be in January 2008.  We now need to find the five preachers that God has already called to help us in this ministry -- men who have a deep heart for revival within the church.  We need preachers who are committed to the long-term task of assisting Romania churches with preparation for an evangelistic harvest.  If you are interested in joining us on the project scheduled for January 9-23, 2008, please contact me ASAP.

HARVEST GHANA UPDATE
I am happy to report that we have received the funds necessary for the purchase of our much-neededland rover 2 Land Rover in Ghana!  We praise the Lord for the wonderful way our supporters rose to the task of meeting the financial needs for this ministry. In a little more than one month the need was met. The appeal of our Ghana coordinator Sammy Lartey was answered faithfully. "I knew my God would meet our needs according to His riches in Glory." said Sammy upon receiving the news that the funds for the vehicle were available.  "I never doubted what God was going to do for us" he continued.

This vehicle will enable Sammy to travel deep into the bush of Ghana for follow-up meetings in the villages where our recent crusades took place.  In addition to this his efforts for planning for the next project(s) has been eased greatly by this vehicle.  Thank-you so much for your generous support of this and all our ministry needs!

Our next Harvest Ghana project is scheduled for March 4-20, 2008.  The project will include, in addition to the typical school and village crusades, an ordination service for the 24 pastors who are working in the newly established and planted village churches throughout Ghana.  These churches are the result of GEM's "going where others dare not go" with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Each of these pastors ministry is the result of all that you are doing to help GEM in Ghana. We also have the potential of doing our initial medical/dental clinic in Ghana.  Please continue to pray for this upcoming ministry in Ghana.

Years End Brings New Year's Needs
December is always an incredible time for Global Evangelism Ministries.  While we enjoy the opportunity to be at home with our families and friends, we know that the early days of January bring a renewed schedule for mission and ministry.  With these approaching opportunities come the rising cost of doing international ministry.  The weaker dollar (in global markets), the soaring price of gas (which translates into higher air fare costs, and higher project costs in the field), and all the rest result in our need for increased support for our friends and partners around the world.

This year we have been blessed to have a "challenge gift" from one of our dear financial supporters.  Here is how it works. This brother will match any gift given to GEM in the month of December up to $5,000!Your financial gift can be doubled with the simple stroke of the pen.  I hope you will consider your most generous contribution to GEM and give it today.  Remember, in order for your gift to receive 2007 tax-credit it must be received before December 31, 2007.

Our upcoming projects include,
  • REVIVAL ROMANIA where we will partner with five churches over the next five years for revival training and evangelistic harvest events.  Remember, we will be working in all five churches during each of the two annual projects.  Each of the annual projects will cost us approximately $2,400 per church, per year.
  • HARVEST GHANA where we will conduct film and school crusades in remote and desolate locations where people have never yet heard the Gospel.  We are planning two of these projects, each with a cost of $11,000.
  • CZECH IT OUT projects where we continue to build a viable Christian presence in the country through sports camps, PrayerWalking projects, and seasonal outreach events

Roy D. Mason, Jr.
Founder & President

My heart is thrilled to report the marvelous blessings of God through GEM!  Little did we realize in June 2001 that we would be reporting the facts that, by GOD's grace, we have shared the gospel with over a half a million individuals in over 1,200 venues around the world! It is simply overwhelming to consider the wonderful privilege God has given us in this Great Commission task.

Without any notion of pride we are honored to report to you that as a result of our "we go to them" philosophy we have been able to witness over 282,400 individuals indicate their first-time decision for Christ through our preaching projects around the globe.  Only eternity will reveal the true results of our ministry, but we are trusting God's grace in all that we do.
Yours, in the fulfilling of the Great Commission,

Roy Mason
