CLASS OF 2002 TO REUNITE AFTER 10 YEARS! NWSA alumni now have yet another opportunity to reconnect as the New World School of the Arts High School Class of 2002 elebrates its 10-Year Reunion. In the decade that passed since these artists graduated, each of them has charted a unique path. Many have pursued the artistic passions they developed as they strolled down the checkered hallways, while others have channeled their talents in different fields. Their accomplishments are impressive - from performing at the Tony Awards to being nominated for a Grammy; from founding a dance company to working at the White House; from becoming a physician to becoming a parent - the diversity of success is only equaled by the diversity of talent. Reunions are a time to come together, celebrate friendships, and reflect on the milestones that made us who we are today. Catch up with old friends with a stroll down the legendary third floor hallways, stepping into the classrooms that were the backdrop to countless memories. Then, the memories will continue upstairs on the eighth floor, with a full dinner buffet and an open bar. The evening will feature a special collaborative performance from the alumni, video montages, and much more.

NWSA ALUMNUS VITOLIO JEUNE OFFERS HOPE THROUGH DANCE WITH HUMANISSIMUS
Created by NWSA dance alumnus Vitolio Jeune (2009) and Francesca Lalanne Jeune, HUMANISSIMUS is an art project that highlights various creative art projects such as exhibits, dance performances, teachings, collaborations, video concepts and combinations of the above. The objective of these artistic mediums, is to present art that conveys dialogue amongst various audiences with a focus on the human condition.
In collaboration with Dance Barefoot, Humanissimus will orchestrate a 15-days summer dance in Haiti during the month of August. By incorporating a dance mentoring project with visits to the orphanage where he grew up (Our Little Brothers and Sisters of St Helen) Vitolio seeks to encourage groups of young adults to use dance as a form of self-expression. The program will include master classes, creative improvisation and a new choreography as well as lectures and an end-of-program performance.
Vitolio Jeune joined Dance Barefoot when he was 17 years old. He went on to continue his dance education on a full scholarship at New World School of the Arts in Miami Florida. In 2009 he finished top 14 on So You Think You Can Dance season 5 and now he is a senior dancer with the world renowned Garth Fagan Dance in Rochester New York.
