 YOUNG BLOOD: NEW WORLD MIXX
Benefiting NWSA High School, Young Blood: New World MIXX exhibition will be presented at NWSA's ARTSEEN gallery as a fundraiser. The show is part of Young Blood, a future series of art exhibitions that will take place in Miami, highlighting emerging artists who actively contribute to the art scene. This year's exhibit blends the work of NWSA alumni of all ages and establishments. The show blurs the boundary between emerging and experienced artists and questions the notion of establishment in the art world by juxtaposing them against each other's backdrop.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CHARGED WITH HIGH-ENERGY AND PASSION FROM NWSA
NWSA 2009 BFA alum Vitolio Jeune has become a national household name in the past month, not only because of his dynamism and charisma, but because of his unparalleled dance style and talent. Selected among the top 20 contestants in Season Five of FOX TV's popular dance showcase So You Think You Can Dance, Jeune charged the stage with his riveting solo performances as well as his duet presentations. Vitolio outlasted three other male dancers before gracefully saying goodbye to the show... for now.
Driven by the need to survive as a youngster in his native Haiti, Vitolio an orphan at five, began dancing in the streets for mere pennies a day at the late age of fifteen to make a living. His dedication and perseverance eventually brought him to Miami in 2005 when he auditioned with NWSA. Despite his lack of formal training, Vitolio was admitted to the college program on a full scholarship. He received his BFA degree this year and is looking forward to spending his life developing his talent as a dancer and choreographer.
