NWSA VISUAL ARTISTS "GET OUT THE VOTE"
New World School of the Arts college students from the visual arts program were among designers from across the nation invited by AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) to participate in the creation of nonpartisan posters. The submissions for the "Get Out the Vote" campaign are meant to inspire the American public to participate in the electoral process and vote for a presidential candidate in the 2008 general election, this coming Tuesday, November 4th. A juried set of 24 posters, including three designed by NWSA college students, were professionally printed and distributed nationally in early September.
The three selected posters [below], from NWSA, are currently on exhibit at the New World Gallery, as part of the Graphic Design Exhibition Visual Language, which will remain open through November 23, 2008. 25 NE 2nd Street, downtown Miami.
