9th Annual Mohegan Colony Storytelling & Music Festival
 
 Saturday, August 8, 2009 -  Rain or Shine! 1pm -10pm 
 
storytellersEverybody loves a good story. When told by a professional storyteller, stories come alive!  Mohegan Colony Storytelling and Music Festival features master tellers and musicians who make stories leap to life and engage audiences with interactive styles and unique interpretations of original stories and music and more.  This entertainment for the whole family is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.   Also, a storytelling workshop with Corinne Stavish is available at 10:30am. 
 
Guests are invited to attend the afternoon program, the evening ghost stories, or stay for both!  Evening events include ghost stories told around flaming tiki torches and flickering candle light, and an open mic.  Daytime admission price, including FREE parking, is $12.00 for adults and $3.00 for children and $10 for adults and $3 for children for the evening Ghost Stories. All day and night inclusive admission is $15 adults; $5 children. Family rate is $25.00.  All venues are covered -- the event will continue, rain or shine.  Light refreshments and restrooms are available. 
 
Choose among performances to captivate all ages, from preschooler to adult.  Share fun, laughter, and poignant moments with nationally-acclaimed performers.
 
The Festival is located at 99 Baron de Hirsch Road, in Crompond, New York, three miles east of Peekskill, in Cortlandt between routes 6 and 202.
