Feed Me Fresh! Music, Food and Fun To Benefit the Mount Kisco Child Care Center
On Saturday, September 27th, the Mount Kisco Child Care Center (MKCCC), is hosting its fourth annual Feed Me Fresh-- An Edible Evening to benefit their fantastic scholarship program, and to highlight their work through Feed Me Fresh, the MKCCC's garden to table, sustainable nutrition program which is designed to increase the level of appreciation for healthy foods and healthy choices for children at an early age.
The evening will take place on the stunning property of West Patent Farm on Guard Hill Road in Bedford Hills from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. The event's fabulous food, amazing Bluegrass band, cocktails, and farm market offerings all highlight MKCCC's commitment to community-based programming by educating families, inspiring them to adopt healthy life styles, while also showcasing the work of local chefs, farmers and artisans.
Foods served throughout the evening will feature Westchester's finest chefs using ingredients from local and regional farms. Participants include: Crabtree's Kittle House, Ladle of Love, Myong's Private Label Gourmet, Plates, La Tulipe, the Feed Me Fresh kitchen, Table Local Market, and Fuel. Raphael Palomino of Pacifico, Sonora and Palomino will also cater the event. Blue Harvest will provide the musical backdrop.
The MKDCC Board of Directors honors Twink and Jim Wood for their amazing contributions in the community and at the MKCCC in particular. This wonderful couple has spent the last 20 years giving back to the children of their community. Jennifer Madden and Linda Mahon, Event Chairs, present a wonderful offering of special live and silent auction items as well this year and Stephen Paletta will be the master of ceremonies for the evening.
