Seasonal eating is the key to a healthy body.

Don't forget to increase your daily water intake to 35mL per Kg body weight.  Exercise is extremely important, try an early moring walk.  In the summer don't exercise in the middle of the day as it is too hard on your heart.
Don't forget if you are trying to loose weight it's as simple as Maths
if your numbers in (daily carb intake) are greater than your numbers out (exercise) you will not loose weight.  Because we have a rich life we now eat more (not better)  try letting yourself be a little hungry each day.  Never finish a large meal.  Don't eat late as it disturbs your dreams and puts on fat.

The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of  medicine  or the slowest form of poison.

"HIPPOCRATES'

If you are thinking you would like to make 2008 the year for improved health why not have a TOTAL HEALTH PROFILE done

or if you have not had one done you may be due for your follow-up to see how far you have come this year.

The Total Health Profile assesses numerous physiologic and metabolic functions and tells us what we look like inside. Health testing provides an opportunity to assess health status which is influenced by numerous factors such as disease, nutrition, age and metabolism. As we strive to achieve optimal health we modify our diets and habits, take nutritional supplements and exercise. These modifications affect the bodies chemistry and metabolism and therefore health testing allow us to monitor these effects. The Health profile assesses 42 key biological functions and evaluates the following. Liver Function, Kidney and fluid balance, Blood status Thyroid gland function Cardiovascular system Iron Status Bone and Mineral Levels Also available are Post- Menopausal profiles. Which examine salivary, urine and blood samples to determine levels of estradiol, progesterone, FSH and deoxypyridinium crosslinks, for women who are post menopausal and at risk of osteoporosis
Juice Plus+ -- The strength of our immune system decreases with age, causing a variety of health problems including an increase in diseases like arthritis, increased risk of cancer, heart disease, infections, colds and flu, slower wound healing, now we know that nutritional deficiencies are at bottom of diseases, no matter how old you are increasing your daily intake of fruit & vegetables is the key to improving your immune system. If you are like most of us you do not have the time or energy to sit and eat 9 serves of raw fruit and veg a day. Juice Plus+ makes it easy by taking 2+2 capsules a day for your 9 serves. Of course you still need to eat another 4 serves per day to reach the ideal level of 13 seves per day of raw vine ripened fruit & vegetable.
