Greetings!

Hi thought you might like some healthy recipes to warm you.  As you are a personal client of the Herb Factory we hope you enjoy these.  We all love these.

 dice    

              ½           sweet potato

"           4            potatoes

"            6            mushrooms

"            1            onion

"            2            carrots

Spread in a casserole dish, cover with cream and

200gms grated mature cheese.

Put in oven at 175 deg f.

Approx cooking time 45 minutes or until soft

And the cheese is brown & melted.

Potato cabbage

Add to large frying pan - teriyaki sauce, olive oil, saute sauce (if you cant find a natural ingredients one leave it out), and dice 3 cloves of garlic

Add to pan

4 potatoes cut in 1 cm rings and then

Cut in half (unpeeled) 

Cut 1 onion into rings and in half

Cut ½ sweet potato cut in 1 cm rings & then half

Put lid on pan for approx 15 minutes

Stirring every 5 minutes

Heat should be sufficient to brown the vegetables

When potato & sweet potatoes are soft add

½ cabbage sliced in long strips

Replace lid; allow heating the cabbage for approx 3-5 minutes - just until cabbage is soft and warm

Serve hot with crushed pepper or herb salt

On rising

It is essential to start the digestive system gently first thing on rising.  A bit like warming up a car first thing in the morning.

Prepare a warm drink of:

1.   Lemon & honey or

2.   Orange & honey or

3.   Grapefruit & honey or

4.   Herbal tea & honey or

5.   Orange juice freshly juiced

6.   Prune juice

Hotcitrus

Slice ½ a citrus in ½ cm rings, place in cup,

Juice the other half, pour in cup,

Add honey to suite your taste,

Pour on hot water, let stand for a minute.

·        Take 20ml of apple cider vinegar.

·        If you are taking slippery elm powder, take it now.

·        Drink citrus drink.

·        Take herbal tonic now if you have one.

·        Take a small whole garlic (swallow) - to   lubricate the bowel.

Dinner Suggestions

1.   Fish, in lemon, olive oil & garlic with two    

            steamed vegies or side salad.

2.   Chickens in garlic, honey and olive oil soy sauce, steamed        

            vegetables or salad.

3.   Vegetable stir fry and rice (brown).

     4.   Steamed potato in jacket, steamed sweet potato, 

            butter,  andherb salt with salad

5.   Steak in garlic & teriyaki sauce and salad or steamed

            Vegetables

6.   Lambs fry and steamed vegetables or salad.

7.   Fish in garlic, olive oil & lemon with steamed cabbage, carrot, 

            sweet potato or salad.

8.    Potato cabbage (see recipe section)

      9.    Cauliflowers and vegetable cheese.  (see recipe   section)

10.  Creamy spaghetti.  (see recipe section)

11.  2 steamed potato with cottage cheese and herb salt.

 

Evening; hot lemon and honey.

Herb tea with honey and pears.

Creamy spaghetti

Put noodles on to cook use ¼ - ½ bag

Chop 6- 8 mushrooms depending on size and personal preferences. Grate 150gms mature cheese

Place mushrooms, cream 250ml, and cheese in frying pan,

Gently heat until cheese is melted

Drain noodles and put back into pot

Pour in the cream sauce

Heat thoroughly; serve with herb salt or grated pepper

 Fennel and Mushroom Soup:

2 Cups Chopped Mushrooms

1 Cup chopped spring onions

3 Carrots

1 Chopped Parsnip

3 Chopped Radishes

Cook all together in 8 cups water. Add ½ Tspn fennel seeds. When vegetables are tender blend in a mixture of 2 teaspoons of fresh cream & 2 Tbspns soy sauce.

Remember have frequent small meals rather that one or two large ones per day.
