Community Cleanup this Saturday
West End Arts District
Calling all volunteers! Earth Day is right around the corner and what better way to get involved than participating in a community cleanup? The City of Greenville and the Far West End Business Association are seeking volunteers to participate in this Saturday's community cleanup. All involved will be painting, picking up litter and doing whatever necessary to keep our West End beautiful. Families and individuals are all welcome. You may choose to donate an hour of your time or the entire day to help with the effort.
- When: Saturday (March 24) 9:00am-4:00pm.
- Where: Meet at 9:00 at the Village Studios and Gallery located at 1278 Pendleton Street in Downtown Greenville.
- What: West End Cleanup Day- dress appropriately.
- Who: Anyone! Families, Individuals or Organizations.
Please email bkeller@greenvillesc.gov if you plan on attending. If you cannot meet at 9:00am, look for the volunteers around the West End when you arrive. This event does apply towards Community Service hours. |

Recycling Events
Do not miss upcoming events
- Friday May 4- Join us from 11:00am-2:00pm as we offer another free shredding event at the TD Bank Convention Center. Each person is limited to three untorn bags or boxes of material. Meals on Wheels of Greenville will be onsite to accept monetary donations.
- Saturday May 5- We will host our free bi-annual electronics and fluorescent bulbs recycling event from 10:00am-2:00pm at City of Greenville Public Works. For the first time, during this event we will accept gently used bicycles for recycling. Each person is limited to 10 bulbs.
