Wild Wing Cafe and Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive are kicking off a "Last Band Standing" battle, in search of the "hottest" new local band and you can help pick the winner!

Every Thursday night following Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive, two bands will go up against one another in a winner take all battle. The contest will start with 16 bands and end with one...The Last Band Standing! 

The winner will receive a $1,000 gift certificate to Guitar Center from Wild Wing Cafe, a headlining show at the last Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive, along with a chance to play the Wild Wing Circuit, a three song ep recorded, produced and printed, and rotation on a local radio station.

BB&T Main Street Fridays

Wind down the work week listening and dancing to the best in musical entertainment performed by local, regional and national talent. BB&T Main Street Fridays at The Hyatt is a 28-week free music series running every Friday from March 16 through September 28, 5:30pm-9:30pm. This Friday night tradition provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy downtown Greenville on our award-winning Main Street.

Each week throughout the event series features a variety of musical genres and styles. In addition, a children's activity area and special promotional events add to the family fun.

New this season: we will have unlimited wristbands for the children's rides for $12 each. Regular ticket sales will also be available. See onsite ticket locations for more information.  

This month's children's activity will be face painting provided by various volunteers and The Governor's School. Make sure you stop by the face painting tent in the Kid's Area.
