August 2011

Greetings!

This is just a friendly reminder that your CPR certification is soon to expire. You are receiving this message because you earned your CPR credential wth me back in either September or October of 2009. Boy, two years goes quickly. I have two upcoming opportunities for you to recertify, and I hope to see you at one of them. The CPR guidelines have changed since last we met, so I have some new material (and new jokes) to share with you.

Upcoming Classes

I have scheduled two classes in early September to best meet the needs of the Salem State nursing students and alumni. The details are below:

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Recertification
Date: Tuesday September 6th
Time: 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Cost: $45 payable on the day of class by cash or check
Location: 600 W. Cummings Park, Suite 2200 (on the second floor), Woburn, MA 01801

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Initial Training Class
Date: Saturday September 10th
Time: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Cost: $75 payable on the day of the class by cash or check
Location: 600 W. Cummings Park, Suite 2200 (on the second floor), Woburn, MA 01801

Day classes at Salem State begin Wednesday September 7th, so the class on Tuesday the 6th will give students the opportunity to recertify prior to the start of the semester, and I will email Diane O'Keefe, the nursing secretary, that day so students will be all set to begin clinicals. If you are unable to attend the recertification on the 6th, you are welcome to attend the initial training class on Saturday the 10th and pay only $45 to recertify. If neither of these dates work for you, you are welcome to email me, and we can develop a gameplan to help you painlessly renew your CPR credential because you have enough to worry about.

As always, I wish you the best, and I hope to see you in September!

Best Wishes,

Dan
