30 hour famine 
The Youth Group is making preparations to particpate in World Vision's 30-Hour Famine this February.  This event is an international youth movement to fight hunger.  It will bring our youth group closer together, feed hungry children, and change our world forever. 

During the 30 hours, the teens will be on a juice fast, so they are needing donations of bottles of apple and grape juice.  They also need rolls of duct tape (any & all colors).  There is a collection box in the foyer.  Thank you!

PRESCHOOL CHILDREN'S CHURCH - Please drop off and pick up your preschoolers at Rooms 3/5 in the main building.  However, we want parents to know that we will be in the Children's Center during the Service.  Elementary-aged children will be dismissed from the Service for Children's Church, which takes place in the Children's Center.

 

Teen Quizzing Pratice at 12:00-1:30 p.m.

 

Also, please remember to bring your plastic and paper grocery bags to church with you on Sunday.  We will recycle them in the Food Pantry! 
 
District Men's Skeet Shoot Retreat
Deadline to Register
The South Texas District is hosting a men's Skeet Shoot on January 28-29, 2012 at Rancho Ramirex in Dilley, Texas.  Registration is $40 for adult and $25 for ages 11-17.  The final deadline to register is this Sunday, January 22.  Food is provided beginning with lunch on Saturday.  Guns and ammo included.  You will need to bring a tent, RV, or camper with sleeping gear.
