The Palette
Volume 2, 2012
Dear ,

We can't believe it is April already. 2012 seems to be disappearing in a frenzy of exhibitions, customer visits, updated materials and, most excitingly, new product designs.

As we keep our engineers locked away, creating new and inventive ways to measure colour (see below), the commercial team has been on-the-road, presenting on Colour Measurement and meeting international Lovibond® users. If you haven't had the opportunity to visit us yet, there is still Achema ...... for details on this and other developments, please read on.

So yes, the calendar confirms it really is April although our English weather would deny us any Spring Fever, that's for sure ......

AchemaTicket

New Product Launch

Achema 2012 is this year's focal point for the Lovibond® team and everyone is working hard preparing for the event.

It's the Research and Engineering Department that are taking most of the pressure though since Achema will see the launch of a brand new product line for Lovibond® colour measurement.

We can't share more information with you for now since we are saving the excitement till June. However, we are convinced this new series of products will see the start of a new era for Lovibond® colour science.

If you are not able to attend the exhibition, watch this space for further details.....

PFXi Popularity Takes The Lead

The new PFXi range has now become the instrument of choice for customers around the world. All new enquiries tend towards a PFXi instrument - not least for the 12 reasons laid out in the Lovibond® documentation.

As the company focuses efforts to address these requests, the decision has been made to stop producing the older, PFX range of instruments and the last products in this series are now running off the production line.

Commitment to quality is paramount, however, and we have taken steps to ensure a generous stockpile has been reserved to allow the continuation of full service and technical support. This commitment will enable us to support the PFX range with spare parts until 2019. Rest assured, existing PFX customers need not be concerned.

Progress in Cambodia

Those who received our December e-letter will remember that we decided to sponsor a well inCambodiaWell Cambodia.  Good News: Our well is now finished!

It is with great delight and quite a bit of pride that we can announce its completion and the well is now fully functional, supplying fresh water to the villagers of the Siem Reap Province. Of course, all the hard work was carried out by the Khmer Angkor Clean Water Project but we are honoured to have contributed to this cause.

Thank you for taking the time to read this edition of The Palette. We trust you found it of interest and, of course, we welcome any feedback.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Wilkinson
