Kids See For Free

        I love the summer.  Longer days mean more hours to play with my boys.  Hot weather gives way to many a water gun fight, a good spray with the water hose, and lots of laughter.  Great memories are made in the summertime; I can't believe it's half over.  

      This slapped me in the face just a few days ago when my oldest, who starts pre-school in the fall, began inching closer to the TV to watch Diego.  My first thought was, "I have got to check his eyes".  I do eye exams every day but I keep putting his off.  The same goes for my youngest, who is 15 months.  I haven't noticed any visual problems but that doesn't rule out eye health issues.  Needless to say, they both have appointments now.
