The holiday season is just around the corner and I am beginning to get that familiar old pre-Christmas postal panic.
Mailing anything to England requires planning at least four weeks ahead of time. What to buy, how to ship it and will it fit in a priority mail envelope? If it's electrical, will it work? If it's clothing, will it fit? If it's heavy, will it arrive in 2011? Well, accordingly I should have mailed everything off yesterday...aargh!
And, why is it that every year I plan to write long and loving Christmassy updates in all my cards, inquiring after each recipient, fondly recalling memories of the last year, and the reality is, I end up with the same old salutation, "must catch up soon, lots of love, Jo & Bob." Does any of this sound familiar or is it just me?
At least here in Arizona it's getting a little cooler, which really helps one at least feel a little more festive. Don't laugh, did you know you can buy instant snow in a can now? I have some at the Tea Room. Yep, just add water and hey, presto SNOW! Seriously, only in America.
We have some wonderful holiday decorations and gifts to share with you in this newsletter, and a special late night shopping event for all our special customers.
