Many ask, "When am I going to find out what I'm here for?" Here is the answer: You're here for now... not something coming up. What have you got going on in your life that you don't like? What's happening right now that you wish would move out of your life?  What is it that you don't understand? Perhaps you ask yourself each day, "Will it be better tomorrow?" Dear ones, make this the day that's the summit. Take the situation of today and mold it into something that's beautiful for you now. In dire, difficult circumstances, anchor and celebrate all that's around you. Claim the love of God, and let the compassion of Spirit fill you. Then keep on going ... even in doubt. Instead of striving for something at the top of the ladder, strive for understanding the circle of energy that makes up your new "now" reality. When you see the circle "I am that I am," do you understand that it's a statement of you and the family? Be the angel, the lighthouse, each moment of your life. ~ Kryon, as channelled by Lee Carroll, Book Nine ~

They also beaded, spoke their language with the elders, made a drum, and built a fish trap. The weather was nice, it rained one day. Snakaey had a wonderful time. Health & Social Services (Dorothy Boatright) - I was able to have a vendor table at our Annual Gathering with a lot of valuable information I received through the Cooperative Extension Service with the University of Fairbanks. I passed out a lot of info on canning and freezing fish and wild meat, and info on how to make jerky and fruit leather, plus a load of information on berries, jams, mushrooms, and herbs. It was a good turnout for the gathering, and everyone enjoyed getting new info.

The Chickaloon News (Patricia Wade) - I met with Katherine Luscher, River Network

Education Program Manager on Tuesday evening to talk about plans for next year's River Rally, which will be held in Portland, Oregon in May. I might get to tell a Ya Ne Dah Ah story at the event.

I sent a link to an article to the Palmer City Manager about fluoride in the water, here's my note and his response. Thought you might be interested... http://www.naturalnews.com/032741_water_fluoridation_Alaska.html

Thanks Patricia - the Palmer City Council was presented some information regarding the City's fluoridation program last night.  An ordinance would need to be repealed to stop the practice and such an ordinance will be introduced in September.  There will be public hearings as part of that process.  I am sure we will do more investigation over the summer to get ready for the discussion.  The Link to the Fairbanks Task Force Report will be helpful.  - Doug Griffin, City Manager

Sciatica ~ I've had an issue with my right leg; pain running down it like a hot knife, for over 30 years. I think it started when I missed a step while running through our big house and my foot crumpled under. My ankle turned blue and swelled up immediately. I was younger and it seemed to heal up fine. But every ten years or so it would flare up and hurt like crazy, so I'd go to the chiropractor and get massages. It had been acting up again recently, low back down the leg, so I started going to a ProAdjuster chiropractor and his massage therapist in Vancouver, WA. The therapist had learned a new method called manual ligament release and it was working like a charm.

On a Thursday several weeks ago I had gotten a good treatment in the morning. That afternoon I was sitting in traffic, waiting in the left turn lane to get onto Highway 205, when I got rear ended. I didn't see it coming and it was a big shock. I got out of my '96 Ford Aspire and walked to the back of my car. The young girl who hit me was very upset. There wasn't a dent in either of our old klunkers, but we decided to pull over to a gas station to get out of the way. While waiting for the light to turn green I looked in my rear view mirror and she was crying her fool head off, talking on her phone.

We pulled into the gas station and got out of our cars. She started apologizing and was so sorry. She said it was her boyfriend's car and his mother was getting married in Las Vegas later that day and she was flying there and all stressed out. I asked her if she had insurance, but told her if she paid for another massage, I would just let her go. She happily gave me a hug and thanked me. I felt sorry for her. Besides, neither of our old cars had any new visible dents.

But I guess what probably happened was I injured a tendon in that jolt and it's taking longer than I thought to heal. Thankfully Angie told me about ibuprofens I could take at night and Cuzn Kelly told me about Advil, that I take during the day. That and ice packs keep me going. If you have any suggestions, feel free.

Moving mirrors make light from nothing

A team of physicists is claiming to have coaxed sparks from the vacuum of empty space1. If verified, the finding would be one of the most unusual experimental proofs of quantum mechanics in recent years and "a significant milestone", says John Pendry, a theoretical physicist at Imperial College London who was not involved in the study.

Tiny houses: How the movement to create micro houses reflects social reform

http://www.phoenix.edu/colleges_divisions/business/articles/2011/03/tiny-houses-how-the-movement-to-create-micro-houses-reflects-social-reform.html

After years of houses getting progressively bigger, the pendulum seems to have begun swinging in the opposite direction. People have become more environmentally conscious and aware of their effects on the planet. From recycling and composting to simply buying less, they are foregoing conspicuous consumption in favor of downsizing and reducing waste.

With that said, the solar industry is just getting started here in America. Solar is a high-growth industry with the potential to create millions more jobs in a diverse range of sectors; while still an extraordinarily important industry, steel is not.

Bottled Water is hazardous to you and our world

http://www.naturalnews.com/032744_bottled_water_environment.html

Plastic bottles have become the number one environmental pollutant. They make up a sizeable portion of the enormous plastic garbage patch that is currently floating around in the Pacific Ocean. This enormous plastic `reef` is currently more than twice the size of Texas and growing rapidly. It is located just a few hundred miles off the California coast.

Health freedom victory! Fairbanks, AK, city council votes to end water fluoridation

Sometimes organizing like-minded individuals, petitioning, and showing up to city council meetings to express your thoughts actually does make all the difference in instigating positive change. Health-conscious individuals from Fairbanks, Ak., recently achieved a huge health freedom victory when their city council voted almost unanimously to end water fluoridation. The decision followed concerted public outcry and presentation of the facts surrounding the health damage caused by consuming fluoride

Vibration exercise machines improve your lymphatic health

http://www.naturalnews.com/032783_vibration_machine_lymphatic_system.html

In addition to acting as a catalyst for lymphatic drainage, a vibration exercise machine also sparks the activity of the lymph nodes, which are key components of the immune system. Therefore, the movement allows individuals to both rid their bodies of toxins that they already possess and prevent them from contracting illnesses from new ones.

32 Corporations Spent More on Compensation for Top Executives in 2010 Than They Paid In Income Taxes

http://thinkprogress.org/economy/2011/06/21/249949/32-corporations-spent-more-compensation-paid-taxes/

At the moment, a slew of multinational corporations - who already pay exceedingly low taxes - are lobbying for yet another tax boondoggle that would cost the government nearly $80 billion in revenue over the next ten years. With corporate taxes already so low, and corporations flush with cash and paying tens of millions to their CEOs, there's little reason to grant these huge companies yet another giant tax giveaway.

TSA claims it will soon stop molesting little children, but not adults, veterans or senior citizens

http://www.naturalnews.com/032805_TSA_children.html

In a policy change announcement, the TSA now claims it will soon stop molesting little children by reaching into their pants and feeling their genitals. That we live in such a police state today where the opening line to a news story even mentions government agents molesting little children should be downright astonishing, but it's the truth.

Corporations are psychopaths - with zero degrees of empathy

http://www.naturalnews.com/032814_corporations_psychopath.html

Corporations are legislatively derived artificial individuals that can sue and be sued, raise funds, make political decisions, etc. They are headed by a Board of Directors that is by law duty bound to make decisions in the best interests of the corporation. Since corporations are businesses whose sole purpose is to make money, best interests are almost always those that increase profit, empathy be damned. http://apps.americanbar.org/buslaw/...

Letters

**~**:._.:**~**:._.:**~**:._.:**~**:._.:**~**:._.:**~**:._.:**~**:._.:**~**:._.:**~**:._.:**

My name is Philip Ling I am a Chickaloon Village Tribal Citizen and a Youth Employment Worker. I had the privilege of attending the 3rd Annual Family Gathering, as a youth worker, last Saturday.  The 3rd Annual Family Gathering was held at Raven Hall where a plethora of people came from Chickaloon Village, Knik Tribe, the Native Village of Eklutna, and throughout the area. It was great to see the huge abundance of food devoured within such a short time. At the family gathering there was wonderful entertainment such as, singing, drumming, and dancing.  Among the many things that I learned from this year's and last year's Annual Family Gathering is that most Elders are so happy and grateful for the food they receive, and are so kind and polite. They definitely inspired me to be more grateful and thankful for what I have, so a special thank you (Tsin'aen) to the Elders for what they have taught me.
