Dear Robert Morris Alum:

Our preview of summer has students at all RMU campuses enjoying the outdoors. At the Chicago campus, you can truly believe that the loop is one of the largest and greatest college campuses in the country.  Located in the heart of the "educational corridor,"  RMU students mingle with students from other colleges, enjoy the restaurants, coffee shops, use the public transportation to get all over, and take part in all the city has to offer.  Dare we say it...spring is here!

It's that time of year when we're ready to do some planning as well as planting, and we hope that for you, it includes continuing your education at Robert Morris.  In the fall, there will be some new opportunities available and we encourage you to  spread the word to friends and family about these exciting programs.

We hope you enjoy this issue of the RMU Alumni Newsletter.  Feel free to forward it to any alumni you may have contact with who might not be on our email list.  Also, send it on to family and friends who might have an interest.

We have been receiving some great comments from alumni. Let us hear from you and we'll share your news. Ideas for stories or articles?  We're happy to get them!

Go Eagles...

Grants Available at Arlington Heights Campus

Robert Morris University is offering 40 education grants to residents (21 years or older) living in Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Prospect Heights, and Wheeling who enroll in the Fall 2012 Business Management program at the Arlington Heights campus. With these grants, the tuition is reduced to only $5,000 per academic year tuition cost, once state, federal, and the program grants are applied. After an acceptance decision, the only requirement to qualify is residency in one of these suburbs for a minimum of one year. Those interested should immediately contact Robert Morris University at  847-718-6700 as these grants are issued on a first come, first served basis.

The Arlington Heights campus is located at 2123 S. Goebbert Road.  This is also the location of Morris Field, where our football team will begin its second season in August.

Give Back, please...
You can make a difference for an RMU student.

Did you know that over 90% of Robert Morris University students receive some kind of financial aid?  Of course you knew that, because making your way through college wasn't easy. Grants, loans and scholarships made all the difference when it came to completing your degree.

Now you have a chance to give back and help a student who finds him or herself in need of financial assistance.  Every year RMU distributes scholarships to students with the determination to complete a college education, but not always the funds to make it happen. For example, did you know that students with an ACT score of 21 or higher may qualify for an Academic Excellence Award?  Please make a gift to the Robert Morris Scholarship Fund.  Every little bit helps, and we've made it easy for you to contribute by clicking here:  Here's my gift.

If you prefer, you can send a check to:
