Eugene, OR - 08/02/11 - ODE has announced that each EBISS district will be offered the chance to participate in the "EBISS extension".  Each EBISS district will be offered an additional $5,000 for participation. These additional extension funds may be used between August 1, 2011 until January 31, 2012.

 

Participation includes:

1. Demonstration of continued District EBISS team meeting(s) via completion of a Fall DSSP and Action Planning Guide.
2. Completion of school level data summaries for the 2010-2011 school year. (As a result of helpful feedback from EBISS districts this information may be different from previous data collection efforts).
3. Completion of the Coaches Survey by the EBISS Systems Coach.

 

There is no required professional development to remain a part of the EBISS extension. We are however offering a one-day workshop on August 26th  on the newly released Systems Coach Manual. EBISS 2010-2011 funds and/or the $5,000 EBISS extension funds can be used to support attendance at this workshop. The workshop will convene at the newly constructed University of Oregon's College of Education HEDCO Building. Register Here!

 

Additionally, monthly webinars will be available between September 2011 and January 2012 in which any EBISS district may participate. Districts that participated in the March Sustainability Workshop will also have the opportunity to participate in an additional webinar that will be focused on sustainability.
