Greetings!
Greetings from the OMA Board and Director. We hope your February is just lovely!
The OMA 2011/12 survey results are available in an initial report format. Open the pdf here to view or print, and contact Jennifer if you have questions or feedback. This report includes highlighted questions of interest and graphs of key pieces of information. Please, note, this survey will be refined and streamlined for future updates - we aim to offer the survey annually or every two years. This report offers lots of information in a somewhat rough-cut format. OMA thanks Cedar Montessori for their extraordinary volunteer efforts in making this happen.
Research is getting underway at schools around town. This is just the beginning of a longer term study, so if you are not involved yet, there will be chances in the future. This work is a direct outcome of the charge Dr. Steven Hughes put forth - researchers from Lewis and Clark College are gathering empirical data to measure outcomes of a Montessori Children's House experience. Thank you for supporting this project.

OMA Board members are working on a special tribute to Susie Huston. Please, be sure to attend and let us know who inspires you!
