Leveraging the Common Core Standards Initiative to Lead Improved Learning

At first glance, this title might seem trite or redundant. After all, is not improving learning what this entire movement is about? The Common Core State Standards focus on preparing students to be successful in college and/or careers of the 21st century. Just read the introductions to the ELA and Math standards documents.
