Women's Fund Partners with Ms. Foundation for Women and Women's Funding Network
On January 17 and 18 the Ms. Foundation for Women (Brooklyn, NY) and the Women's Fund of Mississippi held a 2-day convening of over 30 nonprofit statewide leaders at the King Edward/Hilton Garden Inn in Jackson. The meeting centered around advocacy and organizing for women's economic security in the South.
On January 20 and 21 the Women's Funding Network (San Francisco, CA), the Ms. Foundation for Women, and the Women's Fund of Mississippi held our 4th convening of 10 Southern Women's Funds, also at the King Edward/Hilton Garden Inn. Participants were open and excited to move forward collaboratively and spent significant time engaging in conversations with each other about possibilities for shared grantmaking, evaluation, advocacy and values.
The Women's Fund was honored to host such a dynamic group of women and men from across Mississippi and the United States.
