 I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Dr. Daniel L. Pedersen, and I am a Newport Beach native who has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in this area since my graduation from USC Dental School in 1987. After 20 years of perfecting smiles at my former practice, Country Club Family Dentistry in Newport Beach, I decided to open Smile Central Dental in Irvine so I could offer my patients an even higher standard of care.
By utilizing the latest technology and equipment available, I am able to provide gentle and proficient dentistry at affordable prices. Further, I pride myself on my cosmetic restorations and achieve great results by offering my patients the finest materials in veneers, crowns, onlays and implants available.
I am currently accepting all PPO insurance plans and in network with most. I would feel privileged to be able to be of service to you and your family if they are ever in need of dental care or emergency treatment. Introducing Christina Thompson, DMD
In Our Next Issue
 Dr. Christina Thompson is a 2006 honors graduate, Cum Laude, of Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Continuing education for Dr. Thompson includes John Kanka, III, DMD course on Aesthetic and Adhesive Dentistry in 2006, Boston University Symposium on Dental Aesthetics 2005, Las Vegas Institute course on Posterior Aesthetics in 2003, Biolase certification in 2008, Invisalign certification in 2008 and California Center for Advanced Dental Studies (CCDAS) in 2009.
Dr. Thompson served as part of the NEVOSH humanitarian trip to Nandasmo, Nicaragua, providing restorative care and oral surgery for the underserved community in January 2006, 2007 and 2008.
