Whisenhunt Communications Helps Pinnacle Holdings with SEO Web Writing
Whisenhunt Communications has moved into a new and
fast-growing area of technical media work: SEO Web writing and Internet
marketing.
SEO stands for "search engine optimization," a rapidly
growing form of Internet marketing. This requires specialty writing using
certain "keywords," or special words and phrases, for a search engine such as
Google or Yahoo to recognize, with the goal of winning a higher placement on a
search list from the search engine. The ultimate goal is to drive increased
traffic to your Web site.
Typically, the earlier or higher up a Web site appears in
the search results list, the more visitors that site will receive from the
search engine. SEO may target different kinds of searches, and this gives a Web
site better Web presence. As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how
search engines work and what people search for.
Whisenhunt Communications is writing articles

Santa Paula High Teacher
is County Teacher of the Year
Teacher
Amber McPherson, who didn't care much for history in high school, now teaches
the subject with such passion at Santa Paula High School that she was named
this year's Ventura County Teacher of the Year.
In
her essay to the Teacher of the Year judges, McPherson wrote, "I believe in
teaching my students their nation's history, all of that history, good or bad,
so they know were we have been, so that they will understand how far we have
come and further we still have to go. I want them to understand their freedoms,
and how hard those who have not always had those freedoms have fought to get
them."
McPherson
received the award when Ventura County Superintendent of Schools Stan Mantooth,
SPUHSD Superintendent Dr. David Gomez and Principal Paul Marietti, along with
other school administrators and news reporters, paid her a surprise visit as
she conducted class during finals week in June. McPherson is now in the running
for 2010 State Teacher of the Year, to be chosen in November.
