Sponsor An Angel thru Crown Sports Center

The Crown sports Center is teaming up with Maple Shade Youth & Family Services to help provide gifts for 100 needy children in Somerset and Wicomico counties. We are asking your family, group, class or business to help make a difference this holiday season by sponsoring an Angel. Just stop by the Crown, call or even email and we will help you select an Angel. The child's first name, age, sex are on the angel.  A wish list will be given to you when you register your angel. This is a guide of the Child's wants and/or needs. You do not need to limit the gifts to just the items listed, nor are you expected to purchase everything on the list. These children are in desperate need of clothing, coats, toiletries as well as toys. Many of these children will not receive anything except what this event generates. Donations should be brought to the Sports Center office in a large bag with the child's angel tag/name attached. We need all donations to be to the Sports Center office by Friday, December 16th. Last year through the Crown we helped 36 children have a wonderful holiday. Our goal this year is to help 50 children. If you can't afford to sponsor a child but would still like to help, we are collecting Stocking Stuffer items. Just drop your unwrapped donations at the Sports Center Office registration window (Suggestions: New hats, gloves, scarves, socks, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, mouthwash, lotion, bubble bath, nail polish, jewelry, candy, gift cards, books, card games, candy, puzzles, toy cars, action figures, dolls and other small toys). Or you can fill a gift bag with cleaning supplies, laundry soap and paper goods. These families are also in desperate need of these items. Any donation is welcomed and they are completely tax deductible. If you have any questions, please free to contact Lynn Phillips 410-742-6000 x101, [email protected]

Coastal Hospice Angel Ornaments

To Love for the Sake of Being Loved is HumanAngels

But to Love for the Sake of Loving is Angelic

Coastal Hospice and Palliative Care patients and families get a lot of love. Beyond the care of nurses, aides, social workers and those who provide spiritual and grief support, our patients know they are loved by a generous community. It's love for the sake of love. It is surely angelic.

Won't you be an Angel this year and include Coastal Hospice in your holiday giving? Your tax-deductible gift will bring the benefits of hospice care to those in need. Honor an angel in your life and we'll proudly display one of our Angel ornaments on one of our trees in the 4 counties we serve. Your donation helps us to provide comfort and support for patients and families when they need it most. Your generous donation ensures our patients and their families will continue receiving compassionate hospice care and comfort as they cope with one of life's most difficult times.
