I've been thinking a lot about the holidays and food, the holidays and feeling loved and how I can avoid using food to nourish the parts of me in need of a little more loving attention than usual. I decided this month I would speak to my contemplations' and share my thoughts with you. I hope my "Soul Food Munchies" and answer to the "Soul Advice" question I serendipitously received serve you as they have me. Heres to loving and feeding your Soul-Self first!

Soul Food Munchies: "Feed Thy Soul-Self First"  |

During the holidays we often fall into old, unhealthy habits we learned as we were growing up. We belly up to the Thanksgiving table and feed our emotional-self rather than the beautiful, magnificent Soul that lives within us. This year I invite you to munch on a little "Soul Food" so you don't overdose, slip into an emotional, tryptophan induced coma only to wake up hating what you did to yourself. You deserve to shine at Thanksgiving. Take responsibility for fabulous you and show up prepared for any circumstance that may throw you into that overwhelming state of absolutely feeling like you have to have a second helping of dessert, cinnamon sugar sweet potatoes, buttery mashed potatoes or anything that is not a reflection of the happy, whole and healthy you. Take along a personal holiday survival kit packed full of all the "Soul Food Munchies" you need to vibrate at a constant level of "fabulous."
