| Greetings!
New research from AZ State University has shown that "Meditative Breathing May Help with Chronic Pain."
"Slow breathing provides a natural means for dampening activity in the stress system of the brain, leading to a reduction in pain," said Alex Zautra, Foundation Professor of Psychology at ASU and the study's lead author. "A greater state of calm induced with slower breathing also opens the mind to a greater capacity to feel emotions other than pain, providing perspective, flexibility and choice in the regulation of inner states," he said. "In doing so, slow breathing reduces the dominance of the fight/flight response within us extending the calm influence of parasympathetic activation to allow for better emotion regulation and cognitive shifts from helplessness to action." Did you know my Soul Talk Therapy Sessions are all about engaging in "meditative breathing" to increase the capacity of experiencing positive emotions for healing, health and wellbeing? In addition I offer a guided breath meditation you can download through iTunes for 99 cents or you can purchase the cd and I will sign it and send it to you. Breathing is healing!
As always, with faith, hope, love & inspiration,

Soul Advice
Dear Hailey,
I have the most difficult time making decisions even when it is an easy, not so important one. This is beginning to affect my life to the point I am not moving forward and feel stuck in a lot of areas. I was wondering if you have any techniques you use to help you make decisions?
Signed, Can't Make a Decision
Dear Can't Make a Decision,
Decision making can be difficult especially when we are uncertain in general what our desired goal is. The first step to making a decision is to decide what your desired goal or outcome is. Next, list all your options for reaching your desired goal/outcome including the opportunity or avenue being presented to you. Out of your list ask yourself which one is most advantageous to you spiritually, physically, financially, and will create the most positive energy in your life. This should guide you to your decision and if not, go with your gut. Your gut has no ability to doubt. Don't forget sometimes the best decision is to be patient and or walk away. All decisions must feel empowering and supportive period! Best of luck to you and happy decision making!

Soul Inspiration
"Caring for Your Soul is an act of loving honor and gratitude." - Hailey Wiseman Do you find yourself so busy that by the end of the day you are so spent that even the mere thought of deeply caring for yourself seems exhausting?
Unfortunately in our culture the majority of the time our energy is focused on our work, our family, and or our friends leaving little to no time for the care of our Soul. There is nothing wrong with any of these practices until they have consumed the best parts of us rendering us incapable or unwilling of expressing and experiencing the deep love we all deserve. We have to remember it is important for us to replenish, rejuvenate and nourish ourselves with acts of self-gratitude and love. Caring for your Soul is an act of honor and service to your Soul-Self, that part of you that is able to re-claim your dreams, harness your energy and manifest your true-hearts desires.
Consider a bubble bath, a yoga class, reading a good book, an evening walk after dinner, rising early to have your coffee or tea outside or anything that brings you into a relaxing state of mind.
Another way to replenish, rejuvenate, nourish and honor your Soul is to say "yes" when offered help. We are all guilty of not accepting help. I know I am. Often I find myself saying "Oh thanks, I can manage" but what I have learned is when I accept help I am truly moving into a place of honoring my Soul because I am allowing another person to serve me. When you accept the services of others you are honoring the person's willingness and desire to acknowledge and validate you. Energetically, at a deep heart level, you are accepting love which, in essence, is sharing love. It energizes you and the person offering to help.
Think of it like you would a...
