 Welcome to August! I hope you are staying cool and finding a few moments to relax before clicking into high gear for the fall. I am thrilled to announce my radio show has exceeded 5K listens! All of you listeners and callers are what keeps me on the air, thank you! I also have exceeded the expectations of Boulder Book Store and have signed a contract to broadcast live from thier Upper North Room on Tuesdays at 1pm pdt|2pm mdt|3pm cdt|4pm edt. I also have a new producer, Ms. Katie Selvage, and she is lining up some incredible guests for us to chat with and we look forward to you joining us as well. I want to call my Soulmate into my life. I have been dating forever but can't seem to meet the right person. I am beginning to think I will never meet "the one" and am destined to always be alone. Can you help me?

Dear Where is My Soulmate,
Good Question! I want you to make a list of the top five qualities you want in a partner. Start with a list of 15-20 then carefully narrow it down to five. Next, when you go on dates, sit back and let your date do most of the talking and reflect on the top five qualities you are looking for. Does this person express those? If one is missing don't go on another date with them and move on. I also want you to begin being the top five qualities you listed so the energy you put out there is exactly what you want to call in. In addition, start engaging in all the things that make you happy. The more you enjoy your life and who you are by engaging in activities that really fill your heart up, the less lonely you will feel and the more attractive your energy will become. It really is all about making ourselves happy and whole as no one person can do that for us, not even a soulmate. And last but not least, don't narrow your options. Just because a person does not look like you want or live where you would like, etc., does not mean they are not the right and perfect twin flame reflection of the best parts of you and the right and perfect person to compliment your life and fill your heart with love. So often we focus all our attention on our work, our family, and or our friends or we withdrawl from social events and busy ourselves with endless to do lists. There is nothing wrong with any of these practices until they have consumed the best parts of us leaving no time, energy or willingness to express and experience the deep love we all deserve.
When you came into this world your little heart was full of God's love and you spent your days soaking up the unconditional love of being held, cuddled, kissed and cooed at. You had no idea there was any other way of being. Then as you grew life presented situations that caused you to be very cautious with your heart. You would hold back from revealing the beautiful light of your Spirit or from accepting the easy flow of love you experienced as a new born. Understand you are not alone. I walk the path to the heart with many people every day and the fear of being loved at the deepest levels of our being seems to be an epidemic of epic proportions in our culture. We are all walking around wounded afraid to love and be loved and I want to put a stop to it.
What I know is you are a beautiful, gifted, loving being full of bright, inspirational, worthy ideas and there is no part of you that is not loveable or undesirable. In fact, you are absolutely worthy of all of the love the universe has to offer and more. You just have to claim it.
I invite you to accept the gift of being loved in those places in your heart where it feels like it will hurt too much and especially when it makes you feel vulnerable. Your work, your family, your friends and the endless to do list will still be there but with a little love in your heart, you will be able to face them with a new perspective and inspiration. And, after awhile, by practicing truly accepting love to flow to those parts of your heart and Soul you have long kept protected, your fear and emotional pain will heal and your vulnerability will turn to self-power and joy. I promise.

Say to yourself every day when you wake up and just before you lay your precious self down at night:
"I rejoice in the loving beauty that lives within me. I am worthy of being loved and I accept love freely and joyfully."
Repeat as needed.
