Greetings!
 Greetings!
I am so happy to share with you all that during the months of April & June my radio show will be coming to you live from Boulder Book Store!
Since the first time, fifteen years ago, that I meandered into the book store looking for a quiet spot to study and write, I have been visualizing being a part of the great big peaceful & loving energy being put forth by this locally & independently owned book store.
I typically find myself hanging out somewhere amongst the stacks in the Upper North Room where all the self-help, psychology, alternative medicine, metaphysical, spiritual, and religious books along with yoga mats, incense, chimes and various other beautiful gifts are artfully displayed. Now, I am. In fact, I will be located in the Upper North Room at a table surrounded by all the great religious works! Amazing! I never gave up on this dream even though I had no idea what it would look like or when it would manifest. I just kept visualizing I was a part of it. I believe God kept my dream alive even when I would giggle at the notion of it. In perfect timing for me, the idea came to host the radio show live from the book store. So be it, my dream of being part of the energy naturally and easily manifested. I feel so blessed! Thank you oh great Spirit I call God!
I would be honored if you tune in. I have some really wonderful guests lined up for us all to learn from.
I also want to thank you all so much for all your letters and gratitudes. I feel very grateful.

 Soul Inspiration
"The Obstacles are Not Life's Curve Balls,

I recently watched Michael Jackson's "This is It," the video clips and footage of his final rehearsals for his last planned tour. I cried and cried realizing the lyrics of most of Michael's songs resided in my memory and were easy to belt out as though I was singing them instead of him. His music has been with me since I was a little girl. I can still hear my father knocking on my bedroom door and asking, in an exhausted tone, "Hailey, can you please not play Ben for awhile?" I was ten years old and would play the forty-five over and over on my plastic, blue, portable record player. You remember those? The kind that would fold it in half and clasp together like a suit case so you could carry it from room to room or to a friend's house for a slumber party?
At twenty-one I line danced to "Thriller" every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night as this young Madonna wannabe still had a place in her heart for Michael. I should mention I recently had the opportunity to learn the "Thriller" dance all over again with my precocious 8 year old friend Sarah Grace as she prepared for the big downtown Macon, GA Halloween festival. Folks of all ages come out dressed as a ghoul and line up to dance the legendary "Thriller" as the song is blasted out into the night air thorough enormous speakers. I felt blessed she invited me and her Mama to join her for practice. Again, my heart was swept away and I was 21 all over again dancing to the sounds of Michael forgetting anything else in life was important.
Watching the movie and hearing all those fabulous songs reminded me that our lives truly are a quick glimpse in time and nothing, with the exception of giving and receiving love, is that important. I began to think about how I live my life and question if I would be happy with my choices when I turn the corner and head home to God. Right on the heels of these thoughts, my heart sank into the depths of my Soul like the Titanic in the Atlantic when I learned a dear friend unexpectedly lost his wife. She was taking a nap...

If the premise is; nature is God's way of reminding us of the great gifts and miracles he is able to create, then absolutely we can receive answers to the prayers and questions we have by paying attention to the wisdom nature offers us. I know many folks that "find God" in nature and spend the majority of their spare time outside gardening, skiing, hiking, rafting, climbing or just communing. They come back from their adventures and share their latest "awe-ha" spiritual moment with me and I don't doubt a word of their experience. God will get our attention in the way we can most hear his message and if that is through nature then so be it, I am paying attention!
