Greetings!

Welcome to the third in our series of special newsletters for the 56th Annual First Parish Plant & Craft Fair.

This week we're going to focus on the crafters who'll be with us. Sandy's done a terrific job and the Common is already full!

And we're sharing a list of our favorite garden centers. They're all at some distance from Bedford but are still very much worth the drive.

Happy Gardening!

Crafters on the Common

A record number of new and returning artisans and crafters will join us on the Common for the 56th Annual First Parish Plant & Craft Fair.

What will you find?

There will be jewelry of all kinds; pashminas for all seasons in a wonderful selection of colors and hand painted silk scarves; handsewn aprons made from vintage fabrics; decorated flip-flops and hair accessories; handcrafted Australian leather hats; totes and handbags; Batik and tie dyed clothing; pet coats and raincoats.

There will be reverse paintings on vintage windows and paintings on glass; decorative fridge magnets; ornaments; true-to-life handmade cornstarch flowers; shells and shellcraft; garden decorations; Longaberger baskets from Ohio; placemats, table runners and quilts.

American Girl doll clothes;  marionettes; pop-up puppets, and Yoyo balloons.

All this and more. Come to the fair and peruse the selections!

Word-of-Mouth . . .

If you enjoy The Plant Fair News and have friends or colleagues who might also enjoy knowing about the Fair, please feel free to share this newsletter with them using the link at the bottom of the page, and then encourage them to sign up so that issues are delivered directly each week between now and May 16.

Word-of-mouth is the best possible way to share the magic and the fun of the Fair. Remember, you know a ton of people that we don't!

Thanks for helping!

(Our privacy policy is clear: the list will only be used to share information about the Fair and will not be otherwise shared or sold.)
In Future Issues
  • More about the specific plants we're featuring
  • A focus on individual volunteers who've helped in prior years
  • Highlights of this year's kids' activities
  • Toosday Toons Bluegrass Band
  • And more . . .

Plant to join us on May 16
(sorry, I still can't resist!)
