Dr. Montrell Greene, former superintendent of the Cleveland School District, has just returned from a two-week trip to China.
Greene, who is also a former principal and teacher, is the CEO of Empowerment 360, a company that promotes motivational and professional development across the Delta and the nation.
The educator traveled across the world to lecture more than 1,500 students on the U.S. education system and to assist in the development of English departments in China schools.
This was Greene's second trip to China, and he feels that exposure to other cultures is essential for both American students and teachers.
