Seefried's Seasonal Style
Doug Smith and Ferdinand Seefried of Seefried Properties.
Doug Smith's Christmas pants give us the sneaking suspicion that Seefried Properties is in cahoots with Santa, who would need somewhere, perhaps a Seefried build-to-suit, to store all those toys and games. Seefried hosted a holiday gathering at Tavern 99 last Wednesday, treating guests to beverages and networking and, of course, Doug's holiday attire. THAT is some serious Christmas cheer! |
Alter Group Continues the Celebration
Alter Group's Senior Vice President Russ Posey; Executive Vice President Harvey Alter; Director of Programs Renata Pasmanik; and Senior Vice President of National Development Todd Yates.
Earning NAIOP's 2010 Developer of the Year Award is as prestigious as it gets in commercial real estate, and, because it's not really a party without him, The Alter Group EVP Harvey Alter, as well as Director Renata Pasmanik, joined Todd Yates and the local team Thursday night to commemorate the award. Given the weather, I'm sure it felt like home for our friends from suburban Chicago. Approximately 40 brokers and their significant others joined Alter for the combo broker appreciation/award celebration at Sage. |
Proven Method for Avison Young
Jennifer Dunn of Avison Young, Diana Gary of Avison Young, Heather and Devon of the Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders, Dotte Collins of Avison Young and Laura Thigpen of Avison Young.
If you want to get the attention of a bunch of industrial tenant rep brokers, it can't hurt to add the Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders to your event. Avison Young attracted more than 60 industrial brokers to a luncheon at 4100 Westpark Drive last week with the lure of iPads and a meet-and-greet with the cheerleaders. Of course, they were really just there to see and tour the three vacant spaces at the building and learn more about revitalization efforts in the Fulton Industrial corridor. |

Study Hall Holiday Tradition
Mike Salisbury, IDI and The Study Hall board; Elizabeth Sessions, WB Interiors and The Study Hall Board; Pope & Land's Jackie Gauthreaux and Jacquetta Watkins, executive director of The Study Hall.
Elizabeth Sessions, president of WB Interiors, and the ACBR have made it a holiday tradition to join up with The Study Hall for an afternoon of holiday crafting. Monday, Sessions, who's also on The Study Hall board of directors, and ACBR volunteers packed the house at the Peoplestown after-school program, making gingerbread houses, festive Santa hats, decorative cups and other holiday items with more than 80 Study Hall scholars! |

Deck the Halls with CBRE
Chip Olsen and John Ferguson of CB Richard Ellis.
The weather outside was frightful, but the lobby of Terminus 200 was delightful as CB Richard Ellis and its hundreds of local employees got together for a little holiday cheer last Thursday night. |
Carter Throws a Strike
Bob Peterson, CEO of Carter, Scott Taylor, President of Carter and Holly Hughes, EVP of Carter.
Nothing says, "The Holidays!" like Midtown Bowl. OK, so we kid, but only because the Cheshire Bridge/Piedmont landmark is, indeed, a righteous, fun and funky spot for a holiday party, a fact team Carter fully grasps. Carter's Thursday holiday party included awarding bowling shirts recognizing longevity at the firm - with some serving Carter for up to 40 years - as well as recognition for fastest ball, John Barefoot; slowest ball, Dana Cole; and Scott Cloud's Turkey award for bowling three consecutive strikes.

REGA Gets Ritzy
Larry Kelly of Pope & Land, Jackie Gauthreaux of Pope & Land and Mark Rusche of Alston & Byrd.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences' clubroom was all aglow last night with REGA's Holiday Celebration. Hosts Post Properties, Duke Realty and Pope & Land invited guests to tour units while enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeurves. What a way to throw a party! |
