A Holiday Miracle on Dogwood Drive Chris Miller of NAI Brannen Goddard (left) and Kent Mason of First Industrial (right) showing the love for the deal.
First Industrial Realty Trust has pulled off a holiday miracle in one of Atlanta's most exciting industrial markets: Conyers. The deal surely gives Kent Mason, who runs the Atlanta office, his wings. Diversitech has signed on for 97,050 square feet for 7 years at 1665 Dogwood Drive in Conyers. The tenant broker was Bill Johnston of King Industrial Realty and the listing broker was Chris Miller of NAI Brannen Goddard.
First Industrial moved Diversitech from their previously owned building at 801 Blacklawn Drive, which is next door to the new location. It was an off-market deal, as it was not shopped around.
Kent Mason told the Rooster, "We are excited to have a partnership with a company that is experiencing growth, even in a down economy. Bill and Chris enabled this to be a seamless and easy transaction."

West Egg Finds New Nest
A yummy treat at West Egg Cafe: the egg salad sandwich!
West Egg Cafe, an independent restaurant filled with local flavor, will be opening its new 3,669 square foot location at Jamestown's White Provision in January. The restaurant, started in 2004 and named Critic's Pick for Best Breakfast by Creative Loafing in 2008 and 2009, will introduce its first dinner menu and bar in the new West Atlanta location.
"West Egg Café was a part of the White
Provision neighborhood before we began our comprehensive redevelopment
project," said Chris Faussemagne, principal of White Provision
Development Company. "The restaurant complements the diverse dining
options at White Provision, and we are excited to see it grow. "

Party Crashers
Stephanie Cottle (left) and Cindy Coombs (right) of Newmark Knight Frank know how to throw a broker party!
The Rooster continues to crash the local real estate holiday parties! We popped in to see Cindy Coombs of Newmark Knight Frank at Riveredge on Monday. Cindy was throwing a broker bash with a favorite giveaway for all who came to see her newest listing - a bottle of booze! We then caught up with First Industrial Realty Trust at Bluepointe for cocktails and sushi.
Nathan Anderson of NAI Brannen Goddard (left) and Leslie Fink of First Industrial (right) had a great time at the Bluepointe party!
Republic Property Company celebrated the season on the enclosed and heated deck of Blue Ridge Grill on Monday. Wit Truitt of CB Richard Ellis was super psyched to see the Rooster join the fun. Then yesterday afternoon, we stopped in Overlook II, where PM Realty Group and Parkway Properties
joined forces to host an open house and luncheon. Guests enjoyed skyline views, delicious food and big holiday prizes!

The party-hopping continued late into the night at 5 Paces, where we found a few local real estate celebs dancing the night away. Stay tuned; we have even more events on our holiday calendar!
