Better to be a Duck than a Rooster...
Hunter Carpenter of Ackerman with the biggest Ducks Unlimited fans, the Huntin' Buddies!
The Rooster met up with some
of its feathered friends at the Ducks Unlimited 2009 banquet last Thursday.
There was nothing foul about this fowl event. The Atlanta chapter of
DU drew quite a crowd, and we found some of our real estate buddies
there.
"Ackerman is all about sustainable
growth and protecting the environment in which we build on. Ducks Unlimited
is at the top of the game in terms of conservation, so it is fairly
obvious what drew us to this event", said Hunter Carpenter with Ackerman.

We want to cover your next event! Please send our event staff a note with all the deets and we will do our best to be there.

The Rooster caught up with gracious host Mike Shelly of Carter for fabulous cocktails and hors d'oeuvres buffet on the 21st floor of the BB&T building in Atlantic Station last Thursday evening.

The group gathered in the unfinished 21st floor overlooking the city from four incredible angles before heading out to the famous Cavalia show under the big tent in Midtown. Just another tough night for Atlanta real estate's best .... but well-deserved!

Oconee a couple weeks ago. We thank Duke for sharing the photo and making jealous those of us who missed out!
Please share your fun photos with us! We know you have good ones! Send them to the
