Cummings Cooks Up an Early Thanksgiving Meal Colliers' Chris Cummings and SoFo's new North Atlanta home at 3910 Lakefield Drive in Suwanee.
Colliers Spectrum Cauble's Industrial
Services Group has assisted Sofo Foods in its acquisition of an 114,412 square foot
distribution center in Suwanee, and GreenLine Foods in its lease of 64,030 square feet of industrial space in College Park.
Ohio-based Sofo recently purchased the Suwanee building, which sits on 13 acres, for $2.9 million as part of its food distribution business expansion into the Atlanta
market. Chris Cummings, Elizabeth
McSweeney and Bill Buist of Colliers Spectrum Cauble represented the Purchaser, while Colliers Spectrum Cauble's Mike Spears and Ryan Sawyer
represented the Seller in the transaction.
"Overall market conditions created the opportunity to acquire a logistics
property at a low cost basis and retrofit it to meet Sofo's freezer/cooler
needs," said Chris Cummings of Colliers Industrial Services Group.
At 4280 Stacks Road in College Park, Colliers signed up GreenLine Foods with a new space including 17,509 square feet of freezer
space and 11,346 square feet of cooler space for its fresh-trimmed green
beans. Art
Murray of Lavista Partners represented the Purchaser and Chris Cummings of Colliers represented the Seller in the South Atlanta transaction.
"This property was well positioned to benefit from the food industry's
growing demand for freezer and cooler space," said Cummings. "Across the board, tenants have a great
opportunity to optimize supply chains and slash costs in the current
market."
