Nothing Runs Like a Deere
First Industrial just plowed through 400,000 SF of vacant
industrial space by signing John Deere to a long term lease. It was a solid deal for Atlanta's oversupply
of big boxes taking First Industrial's 180 Westridge off the market. Rock star broker Nathan Anderson of NAI
Brannen Goddard represented John Deere in the transaction.
First Industrial was unavailable when asked to comment on
the story. |
Zoned Out
Rooster subscriber Scott Barr sent in these photos on October 1st as ESPN Zone officially closed up shop off Peachtree Road in Buckhead. ESPN Zone cited "the current economic environment" as the reason
for the closing. The closing came just a matter of months before a 10-year business anniversary would have been in order.

ESPN Zone was a local hot spot for business lunches and happy hours among many of our readers, and employed approximately 140 people. If anyone has an extra
large theatre room and needs a cool neon sign, please contact ESPN.

Thanks, Rooster Readers!

The Rooster received an overwhelming response to our September 24th edition.
Here are a few excerpts from of our favorite notes received from our fans in
support of our efforts:
"I am a rookie in the commercial real
estate industry, and I just want to say that I find The Real Estate Rooster an
incredible resource."
"Thank You for the updates and keep' em
coming! One of the great lines from the hit TV series, Dragnet, Sgt Joe
Friday (Jack Webb) often said, "Just the facts Ma'am." Joe
Friday was all about the business of being a Cop and the Rooster is all
about the business of Commercial Real Estate. Thank you for the
Facts!"
"I'd
like to commend the Rooster on its
successful entry into the Atlanta real estate media market. You all offer
a refreshing, informative and alternative media service to the industry that is
welcomed.....you have a subscriber for life as long as you continue to
provide the news as you have over the past few months."
Don't
sleep on the Rooster - we won't let you! Cock a Doodle Doo!!
