Greetings!
Welcome to the first edition of Inspiration, Awakening the Self newsletter. I have been coaching, speaking and conducting workshops for more than three years, and since it is my greatest desire to inspire, awaken and empower by sharing love and wisdom with others, I have decided to begin publishing a regular newsletter.
Since this is my first
newsletter I am sending it to all of the names I have on my contact list. If
you choose not to receive any further newsletters please unsubscribe
below. If you think anyone you know may be interested in receiving it,
I encourage you to pass it along. I apologize if receiving this newsletter has caused you any inconvenience.
According to the dictionary, one definition of
the word inspiration is:
"stimulation of the mind or emotions to a high level of feeling or
activity." The Inspiration newsletters will be a collection of
photographs and words, that I hope will - in some way - inspire, awaken or empower you to a
higher level of feeling or action.
I experience great inner peace, tranquility and love when
inspired by the magnificence of our planet and the weaving-together of words
that describe our human journey. As you look at the images, read the quotations and the short-essays, try to allow yourself to feel their meaning. Allow yourself to move beyond just seeing and
comprehending what is on the screen and let your imagination soar, journeying to
far-off places where your life exists in perfection.
Dream of what your life
would be like if you let go of all your fears, removed your masks and allowed
your true self to shine through. With the belief that everything in this world is
comprised of energy, I invite you to allow yourself to feel the energy
encapsulated in each newsletter. Feel the energy of beauty, love, peace,
tranquility and most of all, the energy of inspiration.
If questions or
comments arise as you read through this newsletter, please do not hesitate to
get in touch. I can always be reached at jeff@awakeningtheself.com and look forward to
connecting with you.
Love and Light,
Jeffrey Eisen

your questions. My son Michael who is doing a lot of promotional work these
days will be around as well. I will be doing laser coaching sessions and will be available to chat with anyone who stops by our
booth. I will also be giving a talk - on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. - entitled
"Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life."

Life is a Journey
"Life is a journey." Although you may have heard this saying
often, many of us have trouble putting it into practice. That's because we've
likely been conditioned to view life as a race. Life tends to be about
competition and getting ahead. We get caught up in accomplishments, goals and
climbing our way to the top. We come to believe that the more you do the better
you are and the more you earn the more successful you'll be. We start to judge
ourselves based on our grades, money, possessions, positions, titles, wins and
how much we do!
But what if we stopped running the race of life. What if we
slowed down and actually smelled the flowers. I mean this literally and
figuratively. What if we just quit the race and spent more time reexamining and
changing our conditioned beliefs. What if we decided to go on our own private
journey that would allow us to experience life to its fullest.
Ask yourself the following questions: What would your life
be like if you gave up competition and moved to cooperation? What if you
stopped trying to prove that you were good enough? What if you stopped trying
to accumulate possessions? What if you
really stopped caring about what others think? What would it feel like if you
were totally liberated? What would you do differently in your life? What if the
object of the game was to experience as much as you could in your lifetime?
What if most of the things that seem to matter so much in your life now didn't
matter at all?
What if you could start all over again?
I know what I would do!
I would not feel the pressure to perform. I would not spend
as much time doing but rather spend more time being. I would give up on competing to win and begin competing to
learn. There would be no such thing as mistakes - just lots of experiences that
didn't turn out as expected. I would learn from those experiences and never
feel I was a failure. I wouldn't be in such a hurry. I would have less stress
and anxiety and wouldn't worry as much. I would learn patience. I would take my
time and appreciate everything I was doing no matter how mundane. I would not
strive so hard to be first or best. I would love myself more. I would spend
more time feeling good about what I have done rather than dwelling on what I
have not yet done. I would focus on all my haves
instead of have-nots. I would never
be jealous of anyone else because I would always feel good about me. I would
consciously choose how to fill my hours and not be concerned with the
expectations of others.
I would respect people whose opinions were different than
mine. I would feel free. I would not get upset when things didn't go my way,
rather I would look for the lesson in every experience. I would take good care
of myself - my mind, my body, and my spirit. I would not feel threatened by
people who are different than I am. I would embrace diversity and learn from
it. I would let go of many of my fears. I would appreciate the days that feel
really good and would seek understanding in the days that don't. I would never
beat myself up. It would never matter how well I performed at something but
rather how good I felt doing it. I would sing out loud and not worry about who
was listening. I would feel free to move through life knowing that what counts
is each individual step along the way. There would be no real destination to
reach. I would always strive to feel good no matter what I was doing.
The mark
of success I would work towards would be happiness and the freedom to be who I
truly am, always. What would your life be like if you started your journey
today?
