President's Corner:
 Hello ISES Members,
I hope you had a fantastic time at IRON ISES - what a fun event! We are nearing the end of the ISES year and oh my goodness it feels like when school gets out for summer. We are all super busy; a lot of hustling is going on to get it all done. You all should be very aware of some major goings on:
1. Scholarship applications went out for EventWorld in Baltimore. It is an amazing event full of great education. The best thing about this conference is that it is smaller than most so you get to be up close and personal to network with big dogs in the industry from around the world. Check it out on the www.ises.com website and complete your application to have ISES Denver chapter pay for the trip for you (as long as you are a member)!!
2. The call for awards submission has been made. You will not win an award unless you submit!! Last year was the first year for the IDEAs (Ises Denver Event Awards) and we didn't get the number of submission we would have liked to get. We are sending the award submissions to another U.S. chapter for judging very soon. So get your submissions in ASAP. That award would look great on your desk and in your marketing materials.
3. The Slate for the nomination of the new board is due to headquarters this Friday 4/23. Our slate is just about complete - however if you or someone you know wants to take the next step in their membership, please let me know. We still are in need of a couple of committed individuals who want to make our chapter all it can be.
4. We are looking for donations to create packages for the LIVE Experience auction. If you have the ability to donate or request donations from your company, partners, vendors, customers, etc. please do so.
5. Lastly, don't forget the next two BIG ISES events; The Masquerade Ball in May (Have you gotten a costume yet?) and the Annual Dinner and Awards Gala in June. They both are going to be fantastic and I hope to see you all there.

The ISES Esprit Awards program is designed to acknowledge the
extraordinary efforts, performance, and outstanding contributions of
ISES members in the special events planning.
