Q."I would like to schedule a cosmetic consultation with Dr. Sandel. What does a cosmetic consultation consist of including the cost?"
A. Dr. Sandel offers patients an outstanding level of care and expertise in a warm and patient centered environment. Our patients benefit from his extensive and specialized training in facial cosmetic surgery.
Your consultation will require about 60-90 minutes in our office. During this time, you will meet with Dr. Sandel for about 30 - 45 minutes. He will help you formulate a plan personally for you and your specific needs. During this time, pictures will be taken and digital computer imaging may be performed. This will give you a good idea as to what can be expected from surgery and the limitations of the procedure. You will be given as much time as you need to have all of your questions answered!
You will then meet with Lisa, our patient care coordinator. This is an opportunity to see the many other patients Dr. Sandel has helped achieve their goals. She will also review the available procedure dates and discuss any associated fees.
Presently, the fee for the consultation is $100. This may be applied to any service or procedure scheduled within 60 days of the consultation.

Dr. Sandel Gets Published 
Did you know that Dr. Sandel has published many journal articles and textbook chapters related to facial plastic surgery?
His most recent accomplishment can now be found in the book Advanced Therapy in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This textbook is published as a reference for surgeons across the world.
Dr. Sandel writes an in-depth review of the facelift operation in Chapter 35 called Rhytidectomy.
