ASICS 6-Week 'There's Still Time' Marathon Training, by Andrew Kastor
|
If you aren't quite sure you're in marathon shape, our partners at ASICS have developed a 6-week training program to enable already-conditioned runners to prepare for the March 18th Honda LA Marathon.
The ASICS 6-Week 'There's Still Time' Marathon Training by Andrew Kastor was designed for runners that currently have a base mileage of at least 12 miles.
Click here to preview the training plan and be sure to tune into KTLA Channel 5 this Friday morning at 8:30AM as Coach Andrew Kastor and America's premiere female marathoner, Deena Kastor, explain the plan and how to be your best come race day.
Note: To reduce the risk of injury, all runs should be done at an easy and comfortable pace. The most important thing is to get in the miles and time on your feet to be able to recover properly, leave the racing shoes behind for this program.
