Grand Fathering
I love being a father. You know that already. And I can only hope that my sons love fatherhood and their children as much as I do. We're going to find out.
Dion, my oldest son, and his wife Candice revealed the news that she is pregnant. They are due September 21. The little one will be in good hands, I'm sure. Grandfathering is on the horizon. The concept is a bit mind-numbing, as well as exciting. I've been working on finalizing my book about being son-to-father and father-to-sons, and in the stories I am reminded what a wonderful experience parenting has been (weird that I don't like real roller coasters though, isn't it?) and continues to be. It will be fun to watch from this new angle.
Congratulations to Dion and Candice! Love y'all......
I'm sure I'll love being a grandfather, too.
