Pastor's Note
As I write this I am with nearly 20 of our middle and senior high students bunking at a church near Orlando and spending our days painting homes for low income families. We know that serving others in the name of Christ is one of the greatest catalysts of our own spiritual growth. These are days of significant spiritual strides for this amazing group of young adults. What an equally amazing congregation that supports such life transforming ministry!

Outreach
We have several current opportunities to reach out to others in the name of Christ:
- Christian Social Services (Silent Auction & Benefit Dinner - host a table or contribute to a spa themed basket for the silent auction)
- Students in Transition (socks, undies and school supply collection through August 2nd)
- Oasis Pregnancy Care Center (special prayer for upcoming events)

Harvester Youth Band at Thanks a Latte Café: You're invited to join the youth band for a night of worship on Friday, July 31st from 6-9pm at Thanks a Latte Café in Downtown Zephyrhills.
This is a great opportunity to worship our Lord, enjoy coffee and a light dinner, and share God's love with café patrons. Hope to see you all there!

ATTENTION PARENTS OF PRESCHOOLERS & 4TH-5TH GRADERS: Based on class sizes, we are switching the Sunday school classrooms for these two classes. Beginning this Sunday (8/2), the preschool class will meet in the first classroom on the right when you enter the building and the 4th-5th grade class will meet in the yellow classroom near the sanctuary. Please bear with us during this transition as we are doing our best to accommodate our children in classrooms with appropriate space for them. Please see Jennifer Smith with any questions about this change.
This Sunday! We are in need of two shepherds to help with Sunday school this Sunday. Email Jennifer Smith at jennifer@harvesterumc.org if you can help in either the K-1st grade class or the 4th-5th grade class.
Also, we are in need of a few more volunteers for the last three Sundays in August as well as for our fall programs. The fall sign-up sheets are on the Children's Ministry board in the hall. If you can help a Sunday in August, please let Jennifer know. Thank you!
