Summer Small Groups
Summer Women's Studies Wednesdays 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at the Church starting June 10. Beth Moore's study, Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent, is an in-depth look at 15 Psalms. Themes such as unity, joy and gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Modern-day believers can learn much from these treasured Psalms in their journey toward greater intimacy with God. (7 sessions) Please let Jeannette (jpphil@tampabay.rr.com) or Teresa (Teresa@harvesterumc.org) in the office know if you are interested, as we need to pick up the study guides in the next couple weeks. 1st and 3rd Mondays 7:00 - 8:15 beginning June 15 at the Maihack home (church parsonage), 1106 Fox Chapel Dr., Lutz 33549. Initial study will be discussing the life of Ruth. Young Adult Summer Study - Fridays 6-7pm, starting June 12th. Chase the Goose! What if God wants something more than a safe and predictable life for those who love Him? Maybe life with Christ should be a little more like a wild goose chase ... mysterious, unpredictable, and even dangerous. Join the journey of never knowing where you'll end up, who you'll meet, or what you can do as you follow the Holy Spirit into the spiritual adventure God has planned for all Christ-followers. Location is to be determined, so please let Jeannette (jpphil@tampabay.rr.com) or Teresa (Teresa@harvesterumc.org) in the office know if you are interested, and we'll let you know where we'll be meeting!
All retiree's are invited to a fellowship brunch at Pastor Sam and Barbara's Home, 1106 Fox Chapel Dr., Lutz 33549 (other wise known as the church parsonage!) at 11:00 on Thursday, June 25. Please RSVP to sam@harvesterumc.org.

Hello Harvester Family! Last week I attended our Florida UMC Annual Conference. Meeting with Pastor's and Lay Leaders from all over Florida I reflected again on how blessed I and my family are to be a part of God's work right here at Harvester! Special thanks to the 101 of you who took time to complete our Spiritual Life Survey these past few weeks. And keep praying for our Vacation Bible School children and volunteers. They are doing an AWESOME job this week! This upcoming weekend we welcome Peter Castellani to our services to tell us more about Oasis, a new Pregnancy Care Center being launched here in Land O Lakes. Our message is based on Luke 15:1 - 10, 20 - 24: "Motive for Mission". Also, don't forget the Adult vs. Youth Kickball game at 2:00 PM !
