Wanted: CATCHy Drawings
Missoula CATCH is seeking original drawings from local elementary school students to use on CATCH t-shirts, posters, and calendars. This is a fun opportunity for children to demonstrate what they've learned about nutrition and physical activity, and we invite your school to compete in this contest.

Contest Guidelines & Deadlines
- Entrants must be in grades K-5.
- Drawings must be submitted on an 8.5 x 11" sheet of paper. Entrants may use crayon, markers, colored pencil, paint, and/or ink to create their drawings.
- Entrant's name, grade level, teacher, teacher's e-mail address, and school must be written in pencil on the back of the drawing.
- The entrant should also write a one- or two-sentence description of the drawing on the back of the paper.
- Entries must be postmarked no later than Friday, November 14th.

Prizes
Winners will be announced via e-mail on Monday, December 1st.
Two winners from each grade level
The top two drawings from each grade level will be featured in the 2009 Missoula CATCH calendar. Each winner will receive a free copy of the calendar to display at home or in the classroom.
Grand prize
The best drawing from among all the entries will be used in the 2009 Missoula CATCH calendar, and on new Missoula CATCH t-shirts and posters. The winner of the best overall drawing will receive a calendar, t-shirt, and a special photo and artwork highlight in the January edition of the Missoula CATCH e-newsletter.
Top school
The elementary school with the highest rate of participation in the contest will win a fun and special recess visit from the Missoula CATCH team. |
