"As small as MMI classes in 94-96 were, I've run into more alumni than I can count--from Iraq to Afghanistan to Kansas to just about everywhere I've been for more than a quick minute. Small world and getting smaller everyday."

The Corps Remembers 9/11

9/11

In observance of the 9/11 tragedy that plagued our nation over a decade ago, on the night of Wednesday, September 11th , the Corps of Cadets collectively organized a ceremony held at the Honor Ground and flagpole on campus.

MMI's President, Colonel David J. Mollahan, USMC (Ret) stated, "It was as moving as it was simple. I was left very impressed. To see our cadets perform this little ceremony, in the dark, before their bedtime, with such solemn respect and military precision in remembrance of an event that occurred when they were still young children speaks volumes about what kind of good people these young men and women really are. It inspires hope for the future, which they will have in their hands."     FULL STORY
