Weekly Tips to Help You Create the Life You Desire

Table for Eight

Sometimes self care can be as simple as daydreaming. We all do it but most of the time it includes thinking about what we have to do next, ruminating on what is worrying us, or fretting over the problem du jour. How about using your daydreaming time to entertain yourself and have a little fun?

One way is to plan a fantasy dinner party. You can invite as many people as you want but to get started you might want to pick seven people plus you. These people can be living or dead. You can choose a theme such as: Dinner Party
  • funny people
  • great minds
  • people who have excelled in one of your interests
  • famous people you would like to meet
  • people in power you would like to influence
The list can go on and on. You could plan a fantasy dinner party with people of differing opinions, those who have nothing in common, or just invite beautiful people you would enjoy looking at. The nice part of this daydreaming is that you don't have to do any cooking or cleaning, no pressure to entertain anyone. It's all about the fantasy and the fun!
