Weekly Tips to Help You Create the Life You Desire
Tip of the Week

Making Happiness Happen

According to Martin Seligman, author and "father" of Positive Psychology, one of the most important factors in life satisfaction is social relationships. Family, friends, and co-workers influence how we feel aboutClose Relationships our life. We usually find our good times accompanied by supportive, meaningful relationships. Introverts and extroverts alike, benefit from a healthy closeness to others.

Seligman's work is researched-based and the Authentic Happiness website has many questionnaires in which you can find out not only how satisfied you are with your life, but also your happiness inventory, your optimism level, a survey of your close relationships, and others.

For many of us, in the hectic pace of everyday life, we often let our relationships falter or fade. If you have been feeling down in the dumps lately, look to the quality and satisfaction you take in your close relationships. This may be the time to increase your happiness with life through putting some energy into them.
