"Project Afghanistan"
Bruce Collins From last year's class is currently serving in Afghanistan. He and other members of his unit want to paint a mural to leave their mark on Afghanistan. He contacted fellow classmate, Jennifer Callans from the Anton Art Center for help. He needs heavy duty outdoor paints/brushes that would work well in an outdoor desert environment, which Jennifer does not have on hand. She is willing to purchase the paints and supplies he needs, but we need to raise some cash (probably around $200-$300).
The unit would also appreciate some things they miss, including genuine maple syrup, hard candies (jolly ranchers or any other kind), good quality ground coffee, etc.
Leadership Macomb agreed to partner with the Anton Art Center to collect the cash and other itmes needed and ship everything out to him before Thanksgiving. If you are interested in helping out, the LM office on 15/Little Mack will serve as a drop off point. Checks can be made payable to "Leadership Macomb-Afghanistan Project" . Deadline for donations is November 18th.
Your support is greatly appreciated!
