Time Is Running Out - Apply Now for LM XIV

We are now taking applications for Leadership Macomb XIV. Our upcoming session promises to be an exciting one and we'd hate for you to miss it! Those interested in being a part of our next session should have their applications in by July 31, 2010.

Response has been great so far, but we still have slots open. We are gearing up for another extraordinary class!! Join us!

Leadership Macomb River Cruise Mixer

Mark your calendars, our LM Mixer aboard the Clinton River Riverboat on Monday, August 23rd from 4- 7pm. This is a great way to catch up with past Leadership Macomb alumni, meet our newest LM participants, and our current board members. The event is free and includes appetizers and a cash bar. Civic Leaders Flight

Thank you Selfridge!

On Thursday, June 17th, LM XIII graduates met at Selfridge Air National Guard Base for a Civic Leaders flight. Along with the flight, they were able to experience a mid-air refueling. Thank you Penny Carroll for arranging this incredible experience!

"Exchange" Program

Because Leadership is not limited by County lines, Leadership Macomb and Leadership Oakland have joined together to establish an "exchange" program. What this means is that any LM graduate interested in participating in Leadership Oakland will receive a $200 discount on their tuition. And, any Leadership Oakland graduate interested in applying to Leadership Macomb will get the same $200 discount. This is effective immediately so spread the word! Leadership Macomb Graduates that are interested in participating in leadership Oakland can contact Chris Sharer at cscharrer@leadershipoakland.com. Leadership Oakland graduates interested in participating in Leadership Macomb can contact Karen Smith at smithkj@macomb.edu.

Melinda Brakenberry (LM XII) - Former Partnership Manager of Winning Futures, has accepted a position at Central Michigan University as a Program and Research Officer in their Research Department. She and her family will be moving to the mid-Michigan area this summer!
